Dear Colleague

On behalf of Target Exploration, I would like to invite you to join us at MENA 2015 Oil & Gas Conference on the 9th and 10th of September 2015, at the prestigious Imperial College, 180 Queens Gate, London SW7, UK.

MENA 2015 Oil & Gas Conference programme consists of a series of oral and poster presentations of original papers by distinguished petroleum geoscientists, engineers, new-ventures staff and other members of upstream oil and gas companies presenting their latest innovations and technologies in exploration, fields development and production of Oman, UAE, Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq as well as forecasts on Libya, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen among other oil and gas producing MENA countries

Due to overlapping producing stratigraphic intervals; the almost complete stratigraphic record and unique tectonics of Oman provided a foundation for pioneering upstream experiments and experiences of Oman. At present, the stable and politically low risk Oman can provide new-venture analysts and other upstream think-tanks in MENA oil and gas industries with analogues when exploring, developing and producing:
1. Precambrian sourced oil, condensates and gas in Phanerozoic reservoirs.
2. Sub- and Intra-Upper Cambrian Salt reservoirs.
3. Permian-Carboniferous glacial, fluvial to shallow marine reservoirs.
4. Cretaceous and Pre-Cambrian Shale Oil and Shale Gas.
5. Palaeozoic-Precambrian tight gas-condensates reservoirs.
6. Clusters of marginal discoveries around mature oil and gas fields.
7. Heavy oil reservoirs by gas- and Solar-generated steam injection.
For conference programme, speakers and registration form; see attached conference program which include a registration form. Alternatively visit our conference website: http://www.targetexploration.com/MENA15.pdf

We also would like to bring to your attention the pre-conference course “Introduction to the Petroleum Geology of Oman” delivered by Dr. Salah Al-Dhahab on the 8th September 2015.

Early registration is recommended, and we are looking forwards to your stimulating discussions of the original papers and innovative new ideas delivered during this MENA Oil & Gas Conference.

Sincerely,

Muhammad W. IBRAHIM, PhD.

The upstream oil and gas industry of MENA countries didn’t evolve uniformly ,
therefore the pioneering upstream experiences of Oman can provide other MENA
countries with ideal analogues when exploring, developing and producing:

Precambrian Sourced Oil, Condensates and Gas in Phanerozoic Reservoirs.
Sub- and Intra-Infracambrian Salt Clastic & Carbonate Reservoirs.
Permian and Carboniferous Glacial and Fluvio-glacial Reservoirs.
Palaeozoic-Precambrian Tight Gas-condensates Reservoirs.
Clusters of Marginal Discoveries with Mature Oil & Gas Fields.
Heavy Oil Reservoirs by Gas- and Solar-generated Steam Injection.
Cretaceous and Pre-Cambrian Shale Oil & Gas.
