11th ME Oil&GasConf. London UK 18-19 September2017

Post by salsinawi »

Dear Colleague

The 11th Middle East and North Africa Oil & Gas Conference; is to be held at Imperial College London, UK, on 18 and 19 September 2017 (with four post-conference courses on 20-22 September 2017).

Exploring alternative energy crossover options of MENA Countries is the theme of this conference at present critical times:

1. Reviewing the status of upstream oil and gas industry of the Middle East and North Africa after recent years of uprisings and wars across several oil producing MENA Countries.
2. Assessing the impacts of Global Warming and Climatic Changes on petroleum production, export, consumption, and feasibility of various Energy Crossovers of MENA Countries.
3. Estimating volume and type of undeveloped petroleum resources left behind due to unfulfilled structural, subtle, stratigraphic, hydrodynamic traps; and gas, heavy oil, unconventional, shale oil, shale gas and oil shale exploration and production cycles of individual MENA countries.
4.Exploring the feasibility of hybrid oil fields (e.g. Solar Oil Fields) and hybrids or single renewable and/or alternative Crossover Energy Technologies for MENA Countries.
5. The flexible post-presentations and panel discussions at Target conferences are workshop-like and intended to give the attendees opportunities to learn and absorb new development in E&P of oil and gas, and concepts, techniques and applications of new alternative energies in MENA.
Additionally, four post-conference courses are scheduled at the Imperial College, London, UK:
Course 1: Impacts of Sand and Dust Storms (SDS) on Energy Operations in Arabian Gulf Countries (on 20 Sept 2017)
Course 2: Gravity and Magnetic in the Oil Industry (with reference to North Africa) (on 21 Sept 2017)
Course 3: Introduction to the Petroleum Geology and Typical Fields of Oman (on 21-22 Sept 2017)
Course 4: Introduction to the Petroleum Geology and Typical Fields of Iran ( 21-22 September 2017)

The theme of this conference is “Energy Crossovers of MENA”, and it is designed to explore the multiple alternative energy crossover options of MENA Countries at the current climate and energy critical times. The conference includes 10 sessions and panel discussions dedicated to:
• Reviewing the status of upstream oil and gas industry of the Middle East and North Africa after years of wars across several MENA petroleum producing Countries.
• Assessing impacts of global warming and international climatic changes agreements on petroleum production, export, consumption, and feasibility of different Energy Crossovers of MENA countries.
• Estimating volume and type of undeveloped petroleum resources left behind due to unfulfilled subtle, stratigraphic, hydro-dynamic and gas, heavy oil, unconventional, shale oil, shale gas and oil shale exploration and production cycles of MENA.
• Exploring feasibility of hybrid oil fields (e.g. Solar Oil Fields) and hybrids or single renewable and/or alternative Crossover Energy Technologies for MENA Countries.

POST-CONFERENCE TRAINING COURSES:
DATE COURSE LOCATION
