نفى المتحدث الرسمي لهيئة المساحة الجيولوجية يوم الأربعاء الماضي ما تم تداوله في التواصل الاجتماعي بحدوث هزة أرضية في مدينة الخبر الأسبوع الماضي وأن مدينة الخبر في المنطقة الشرقية شعرت بالهزة. وقبل سنوات تمت المبالغة مع ما قيل ثوران براكين حرة الشاقة، وقيل إنها هزات أرضية ومخيفة في نواحٍ متعددة من حرة الشاقة، وأدخنة وبخار تخرج من الفوهات البركانية في الشاقة التابعة لمنطقة المدينة المنورة، وتم ترحيل السكان من قرى الشاقة حتى زالت المخاوف وعادت الأمور إلى طبيعتها، لكنها مبالغة في حجم ثوران الفوهة البركانية. الفوهات البركانية والحرات هي في الواقع قطاع كبير غرب المملكة العربية السعودية وتمتد الحرات من تبوك شمال المملكة وحتى جازان جنوب غرب المملكة، وللحرات امتدادات خارج الحدود شمالاً إلى سورية وجنوبًا إلى اليمن، وتقدر مساحتها نحو 90 ألف كيلومتر مربع، وتمثل نحو 4.6 في المائة من مساحة المملكة، وتقوم على المرتفعات الغربية جبال السروات والحجاز ومدين وعلى الهضاب الشرقية وتصل إلى ساحل وشواطئ البحر الأحمر، وتقع الحرات في مناطق: مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة وتبوك والجوف والحدود الشمالية وحائل والباحة وعسير وجازان. وحتى أطراف نجران، وعمر بعض الحرات 30 مليون سنة، وأحدث البراكين ثار عام 654هـ - 1256م. لكن يجب عدم قبول الإشاعات والأكاذيب بهذه السرعة ونشرها باعتبارها حقيقة علمية وواقعة حدثت، ولدينا جهة اختصاص في هذا الجانب هي هيئة المساحة الجيولوجية، ولديها مركز وطني للزلازل والبراكين لم يرصد أي زلزال في المنطقة الشرقية، أو ثوران براكين غرب المملكة، فهذه الشائعات تؤثر في الاستقرار والاقتصاد وتثير البلبلة رغم وجود جهة علمية يتطلب أن تتدخل عاجلاً وتدحض الشائعات وتكذبها سريعًا.
